Trumbull Leaf Pickup Program 2026 Details Announced

TRUMBULL, CT — The Trumbull Public Works Department announced Wednesday details for their 2026 leaf pickup program.

According to the town website, Trumbull offers an annual loose leaf collection program that begins in the fall and runs until leaves have been collected in each neighborhood.

Public works anticipates the program will begin Nov. 4, according to the town.

Leaf collection equipment will be tested the week before the loose leaf pickup program begins and return to the area after the official starting date to collect leaves, according to the town.

Weather conditions may delay collections, town officials noted.

Residents can track leaf collection progress by viewing the leaf pickup progress map, which is updated daily during the program, according to the town.

Residents may request bagged leaf pickup at any time, and as many times as needed, during the town's loose leaf pickup program, town officials noted.
