Trumbull Mall Fight Leads To Arrest: PD

A woman said her boyfriend assaulted and threatened her at the mall.

TRUMBULL, CT — Police arrested a Bridgeport man after he assaulted his girlfriend at the Trumbull mall, according to police.

The victim went to police June 23 and said that she had lunch with Thomas McNeill, 38 and an argument ensued.

She went to walk away and he threw food at her, called her names and tried to stop her, police said. As she went to an exit door he grabbed her hair and threatened to kill her.

She then went directly to Trumbull Police headquarters to make a complaint and Bridgeport Police picked up McNeill at his home and brought him to Trumbull headquarters.

He was charged with third-degree assault, breach of peace and second-degree threatening.
