Trumbull Mall Fight Leads To Arrests: PD

TRUMBULL, CT — Two Bridgeport men were arrested after a fight at the Trumbull mall in December, according to police.

The fight occurred Dec. 29. A victim was walking in the mall and was struck by an unknown person. Two assailants fled when the victim's friend came to help.

That same night there was a shooting in Bridgeport connected to the fight, according to police. A video of the fight was posted on Facebook and police used it to identify the suspects.

Kevin Beason, 20, and Xavier Hill, 25, were each charged with second-degree breach of peace after being arrested by warrant at the Bridgeport courthouse April 25.
