Trumbull Mall Proposes 200+ Apartments

The mall owner wants to bring hundreds of apartments to the area.

TRUMBULL, CT — The Westfield Trumbull Mall is proposing to build almost 300 apartments on its property. Originally the company wanted to build 580 units, but it cut down the request to 290.

A public hearing is set for July 19 where residents can weigh in on the mall's plans, according to the Connecticut Post.

The mall is the town's biggest taxpayer with a $209 million assessment.
