Trumbull Mall Robbery Suspect Captured

The man committed a similar gunpoint robbery at the Milford mall too, according to police.

TRUMBULL, CT — Criminal charges are pending against a man who is suspected of committing robberies at the Trumbull and Milford malls. Two female mall patrons were robbed at gunpoint at the Trumbull mall Friday night around 10:30 p.m.

The robber took the victims' cash and other personal property. The same suspect also committed a similar robbery at the Milford mall Saturday around 7:45 p.m., said Capt. Keith Golding, Trumbull Police spokesman.

Police captured the suspect in New Haven after a chase, an arrest was made and a handgun was recovered.
