Trumbull Man Wins $20k Lotto Prize Twice In Same Day
A Trumbull man learned he won $20,000 on a lottery ticket. He quickly decided to buy another and won yet another $20,000.

TRUMBULL, CT — It's said that lightning doesn't strike the same location twice, but Trumbull man Jim Zygmont struck big twice in the same day through the Connecticut Lottery.
Zygmont bought two 20X Cash 4th Edition scratch tickets at Crossroads Card and Gift in Norwalk that ended up being winners. He won the game's top $20,000 prize twice.
"I bought the first '20X' ticket over the counter at 4:56pm and won $20,000. I almost fell backwards. It was crazy," said Zygmont, who had the moment documented in a photos taken from the lottery retailer's security camera. "Not even five minutes later, the [retailer] pointed out the Lottery's new vending machine. He said, 'They just started the machine up today; you should give it a try."
