Trumbull Now Hiring For School Crossing Guard Position
The town is looking to hire a school crossing guard to help out in the Jane Ryan Elementary School area. Here's how to apply.

TRUMBULL, CT — The town is looking to hire a school crossing guard to help out in the Jane Ryan Elementary School area.
According to the Trumbull Police Department Facebook page, the opening is in the area of Mitchell and Channing roads in both the morning and afternoon.
Applicants must be available for regular school start and end times, as well as for late openings and early dismissals.

The position pays $15 per hour, two hours per day, on school days only. Aside from paid PTO, there are no other benefits, according to police.
All necessary equipment and on-the-job training will be supplied, however candidates must submit fingerprints and pass a background check, police said.

The department also emphasized all applicants must be able to commit to the position for at least the 2023-2024 school year.
