Trumbull Organization To Hold 5K Fall Classic In October
Runners can enjoy a fast, flat course along the shore of Long Island Sound to raise money for Cooperative Educational Services in Trumbull.
TRUMBULL, CT — Runners can enjoy a fast, flat course along the shore of Long Island Sound to raise money for Cooperative Educational Services in Trumbull during the 15th annual C.E.S. 5K Fall Classic.
According to a news release provided by C.E.S., the event will be held Oct. 29 at 9:30 a.m. at Seaside Park in Bridgeport. The cost is $25 for runners and $20 for walkers.
Anyone interested in participating can register online through 8 a.m. the morning of the race. The first 130 people to register will receive a free race T-shirt.

The 5K Fall Classic raises money for the schools and programs of C.E.S., including Six to Six Magnet School in Bridgeport and the Regional Center for the Arts high school in Trumbull, according to the organization.
CES also operates a school readiness early learning program and a special education division that serves students from throughout Fairfield County, according to the organization.
