Trumbull PD Makes 3 Recent DUI Arrests
All three arrestees had blood alcohol levels at least twice above the legal limit, according to police.

Gonzalo Lopez, 39, of Bridgeport was arrested June 18 after an officer saw a vehicle pull out of Prime 111 restaurant without its lights on, police said.
Lopez had two open beer bottles in his vehicle and he admitted to drinking two beers. He failed a field sobriety test and BAC levels were .194 and .193 on two tests, according to police. He later admitted to drinking four beers before driving.

He was charged with DUI, operating without a license, failure to illuminate headlights and drinking while driving.
Vehicle Strikes Median
A Brooklyn, NY man was arrested after his vehicle struck the median. Police got a call about an erratic driver near Route 25 and Route 111 on June 17.
Wan Li, 50, waved his hands outside the vehicle window on Main Street near Monroe. His vehicle had a flat tire and he seemed disoriented and confused, police said.
Li said through an interpreter that he had one drink before driving, police said. He failed a field sobriety test and his BAC was .186 and .175 on two tests.
He was charged with DUI.
Home Depot Card Isn't Driver's License
A Branford man was arrested after he was observed driving at a high rate of speed June 15, police said.
Robert Kyle, 34, was pulled over on Route 8 northbound near exit 8. He said he had two beers before driving, according to police.
He seemed confused and gave police a Home Depot card instead of his license, police said. Kyle failed field sobriety tests and his BAC was .203 and .195 on two tests.
He was charged with DUI, speeding and operating with a suspended license.
