Trumbull PD Rescues Overdose Victim on Verge of Death
Police administered the anti-overdose drug Narcan to the man at the Trumbull mall food court.

Trumbull Police saved another suspected heroin overdose victim from death by administering the anti-overdose drug Narcan.
Police were summonsed to a rest room near the food court of the Westfield Trumbull mall on a report of an unconscious male on the floor, said Lt. Leonard Scinto, police spokesman.
The 21-year-old Trumbull resident was gray and there was no sign of respiration. The man’s friend indicated he had used heroin and other drugs in the past.

Officers administered Narcan to the victim who then showed signs of shallow respiration. Trumbull EMS administered Narcan intravenously and the victim regained consciousness.
He was transported to the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
