Trumbull Pedestrian, 73, Hit By Car While Crossing Street: PD
The man was in a marked crosswalk when he was hit by a vehicle Tuesday, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A 73-year-old Trumbull man was seriously injured after being struck by a car on White Plains Road while in a crosswalk near the Route 25 overpass Tuesday.
Police responded shortly before 9 a.m. and found the pedestrian victim lying near the curb. Others had stopped to provide assistance. The woman who struck the victim had remained on scene, said Lt. Brian Weir, police spokesman.
The victim was taken to Bridgeport Hospital and was reported to be in stable condition.

Police continue to investigate the crash and no charges have been filed.
