Trumbull Police Assist Heroin Overdose Victim
Police say the man was found unconscious early Sunday morning.

A 24 year-old man was found unconscious by Trumbull police officers early Sunday.
Police say the man was a likely heroin overdose victim. Police responded at 1:30 a.m. to a Shelton Road house.
“The 24 year old male was found by a family member unconscious and not breathing adequately. Narcan was administered and the victim immediately began to show signs of improved breathing,” police said in a prepared statement on Monday.

Trumbull EMS responded and administered a second dose and the victim regained consciousness before being transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital.
