Trumbull Police Commissioner Charged After Underage Drinking Party: PD

TRUMBULL, CT — Police Commission member Christian Trefz, 54, was issued a summons after underage drinkers were found at a party within his residence Friday, according to police.

Police investigated an anonymous tip about a loud party and found a dozen people under 21 at the party. There was evidence of teens playing beer pong, according to the Trumbull Times.

Trefz was home during the party and said it was for his daughter's college graduation. He was charged with permitting a minor to possess alcohol in a private dwelling.
