Trumbull Police To Hold Free Car Seat Safety Check Up Event
Police will offer free car seat safety checks for parents and guardians during an event this weekend in Trumbull.
TRUMBULL, CT — Police will offer free car seat safety checks for parents and guardians during an event Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Trumbull.
According to the department's Facebook page, the event will be held at the Nichols Fire Department Station #2 on Booth Hill Road.
Parents and guardians are strongly encouraged to bring their children to be personally fitted to their seat. Certified technicians will then measure a child's height, weight and seatbelt position to ensure a safe and proper fit, according to police.

Appointments are not required as inspections will be conducted on a first-come, first-serve basis, police said.
