Trumbull Police To Host 'Stuff-A-Cruiser' Holiday Donation Event

TRUMBULL, CT — The Trumbull Police Department's police cadet program will host a "stuff-a-cruiser" event Sunday to collect donations of non-perishable items for those in need.

According to the department's Facebook page, the event is scheduled to take place at the Stop and Shop store at 100 Quality Street from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

During the event, police aim to fully stuff a restored vintage 1978 Trumbull police cruiser replica with donated items. In addition to non-perishable items, police will accept paper goods, personal hygiene and toiletry items to be provided to those in need after the event.

Police cadet advisors and representatives of the cadet program will also be on hand to answer questions during the event.

"We would like to ask members of our community to stop by and help support this wonderful cause and support our police cadet program," the post reads. "As always, thank you for your support!"
