Trumbull Police Respond to Neighbor Dispute Involving Paintball Gun

The area was shut down and surrounded by police.

Trumbull Police shut down and surrounded the area around 13 Fairview Ave. after a neighborhood dispute.

Police got a report around 2 p.m. Monday from a neighbor or reported his 50-year-old neighbor Jeffrey Somley pointed a weapon in his direction, said Lt. Leonard Scinto, police spokesman.

Attempts were made to determine if Somley had left the area or was still around. He was taken into custody two hours later as he drove down Fairview Avenue, Scinto said. He was apparently on his way home.
