Trumbull Product Named Among Top New England Soccer Players of All Time

The New England Soccer Journal profiled the top 50 New England players in its latest edition.

In its most recent edition, the New England Soccer Journal selected the top 50 players of all time from New England, and not surprisingly, World Cup and Olympic champion Kristine Lilly of Wilton topped the list.

Vanessa Pruzinsky Peterson, a three-time state champion at Trumbull High School who earned All-American honors and went on to captain the University of Notre Dame, was ranked No. 44.

Eleven Connecticut players made the top 50 list, and nine more received honorable mention:
