TRUMBULL, CT — A burglar jumped from a second story bedroom window to make an escape during a burglary on Leighton Road March 1, according to police.
A resident arrived home around 12:40 p.m. and heard noises in the house. The resident exited and saw the man jump from the bedroom window, run to the street and get into a newer model blue car being driven by another man, said Lt. Doug Smith, police spokesman.
