Trumbull Schools Propose 4.35 Percent Budget Increase

School administrators are proposing a $4.35 million budget increase over the current year.

TRUMBULL, CT — The Trumbull school administration is proposing a $4.3 million budget increase over the current budget year, which is around 4.35 percent.

Around $400,000 was recently added to the budget request mainly due to rising health care expenses, according to the Trumbull Times. The Board of Education is scheduled to vote on the proposal and then send it to First Selectman Vicki Tesoro.
