Trumbull Shoplifting Bust Leads to Heroin Arrest
Police waited for two shoplifting suspects to get in a vehicle and leave Kohl's before stopping them.

Police found a man was in possession of heroin after they tracked him and another shoplifting outside of Kohl’s in Trumbull, according to police.
Kohl’s security contacted police about two men stealing items on July 25.
Officers were stationed outside and waited for the duo to get in a vehicle and leave. They then stopped the vehicle without incident.

The two were found in possession of $560 worth of stolen goods, police said. In addition, Noreikis Julius, 34, of West Haven was found in possession of four folds of heroin and syringes. He was charged with fifth-degree larceny, possession of a shoplifting device, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Ronnie Perez, 44, was charged with fifth-degree larceny and possession of a shoplifting device.
