Trumbull Student Arrested For Internet Threat: PD
A teen was arrested after he sent a threatening message, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A 13-year-old Trumbull student was arrested after he posted comments and a photo of himself on social media holding a handgun, according to police.
The posting occurred Feb. 17 in a group message with other students. A parent of one of the other students found the post on the child's phone, said Lt. Keith Golding, police spokesman.
The gun in the photo was a replica BB gun and the photo was intentionally cropped to leave out the red tip that would indicate it wasn't a real handgun.
