Trumbull Students Head To Odyssey World Finals

A team of Trumbull students placed 2nd in the State of Connecticut and will head to the world finals tournament.

TRUMBULL, CT — Fourth graders from Booth Hill Elementary School are heading to the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals after finishing second in the Connecticut statewide tournament.

The team also took home the Jill Riggles award for achieving the highest score for spontaneous problem-solving in their division, according to a GoFundMe for the team.

The team competed in Connecticut March 16 and will head to the World Finals at Michigan State University May 22.

A GoFundMe has been launched to help pay for trip expenses. They are looking to raise $15,000.

Odyssey of the Mind is a team-based problem-solving competition that focuses on critical thinking, creativity and other skills.
