TRUMBULL, CT — A Trumbull teen was sentenced to five years in prison followed by 25 years of probation after he kidnapped and sexually assaulted an 8-year-old girl in his condominium complex. There are also 10 suspended prison years.

Quincy Andrews pleaded guilty to first-degree kidnapping, fourth-degree sex assault and risk of injury to a child, according to the Connecticut Post. He apologized for his actions in court. He was originally charged with aggravated sexual assault of a victim under the age of 13 and could've faced 25 years in prison on that charge.

Andrews grabbed the girl and dragged her into his home in May 2017 where he sexually assaulted her, police said. The girl also told police Andrews sexually assaulted her previously and made her watch pornographic videos on his phone.
