Trumbull Town Council To Discuss Funding, 2 Appointments During Upcoming Meeting: Agenda

TRUMBULL, CT — The Trumbull Town Council is scheduled to consider a number of resolutions during an upcoming meeting scheduled for Monday evening.
According to an agenda available on the town website, the regular meeting will be held at Trumbull Town Hall at 7:30 p.m.
Among the items listed in the agenda, the council is scheduled to consider a resolution which would approve funding for a tentative agreement between the town of Trumbull and the Fraternal Order of Police Union Lodge 158/Town of Trumbull union beginning July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2029.

Council members also are scheduled to consider a $30,000 appropriation from the town's fund balance, according to the agenda.
The council is also expected to discuss the annual pension letter, according to the agenda.

Two possible appointments are also listed on the agenda.
One resolution would approve First Selectman Vicki Tesoro's appointment of James Lucas as an alternate member of the Inland Wetlands & Watercourses Commission for a term extending to the first Monday of December 2028, according to the agenda.
Another resolution would appoint Christopher DeCruze as an alternate member of the Board of Finance for a term extending to the first Monday of December 2027, according to the agenda.
The agenda also includes recognition of the Trumbull Nature & Arts Center as a 2026 Aquarion Environmental Champion Award honoree.
