Trumbull Town Hall Area Becomes Pokemon Go Hot Spot
The extraordinarily popular game is drawing people to the area around Town Hall.
Trumbull, CT- There is a reason behind people meandering around the Town Hall area with smartphones in hand.
The area is a hot spot for Pokemon Go players. The smartphone game based on the popular 1990's anime show allows players to catch Pokemon using augmented reality. The phone's camera captures the real world image and overlays it with various Pokemon to capture.
There are two "gyms" in the area and 16 "Pokestops," according to the Town of Trumbull Facebook page.

The game has broken several records including the fastest mobile game to reach No. 1 for revenue on iOS and Android, according to Gamingbolt. It has more users than dating app Tinder and its active user count will likely overtake Twitter in the coming days and weeks.
