Trumbull Victim's ID Stolen, Suspect Nabbed: PD

The arrestee stole the victim's identity and opened several credit cards, according to police.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Bronx woman was arrested after she stole a Trumbull woman’s identity and opened multiple credit cards in Pennsylvania, according to police.

The victim discovered credit cards were opened at two jewelers and a Bon Ton store, police said. The licence on file had information from the victim, but had the perpetrator's photo.

Westport Police reached out to Trumbull Police after they arrested the suspect on similar charges.

Gloryann Torres, 33, was picked up from court in New York and was arrested by Trumbull officers. She is charged with second-degree forgery, two counts of third-degree forgery, third-degree identity theft, criminal impersonation, fourth-degree larceny, and credit card crimes. Bond was set at $30,000.
