
TRUMBULL, CT — Police arrested a Trumbull woman after she hit a utility pole while intoxicated, according to police.
Officers responded to Canoe Brook Road Dec. 30 around 1 a.m. An officer noticed a utility pole had fresh damage. Officers were flagged down by a woman who appeared intoxicated, police said.
She said she was in a crash, but wasn’t injured and admitted to having two or three glasses of wine. She failed field sobriety tests and refused a breath test, police said.

Joanna Galvin, 33, was charged with DUI and failure to drive right. She was released on a $250 bond.
