Trumbull Woman Charged With DUI
The woman had open bottles of wine and a beer can in the vehicle, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Trumbull woman was arrested after she was found to be driving while intoxicated, according to police.
Police got a report of an erratic driver on Madison Avenue around 1:30 p.m. Sept. 19. A witness followed the car onto Westfield Drive where it parked in a driveway.
Officers arrived and found the driver still in the vehicle with the keys in the ignition and the engine running. There were two open wine bottles and an open can of Coors Light, police said. To sign up for Trumbull breaking news alerts and more, click here.

Driver Ellen Ming, 67, was too intoxicated to perform a field sobriety test and too intoxicated to properly complete a breathalyzer test, according to police. She was charged with DUI and released on a $250 bond.
