Trumbull Woman Pleads Guilty To Fatal Crash
She had drugs in her system at the time of the crash, police said.
TRUMBULL, CT — Trumbull woman Marie Tufaro, 41, pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter, DUI and other charges related to a fatal crash on Huntington Turnpike in Bridgeport.
The wrong-way December 2018 crash killed Shylane Crooks, 50, of Bridgeport and injured others, according to the Trumbull Times.
Police said that Tufaro had numerous drugs including Oxycodone in her system.
