Trumbull Woman to Receive $450k Settlement in Distracted Driving Case

The woman has had multiple surgeries since the crash in 2011.

A Trumbull woman will receive $450,000 as part of a settlement after she was rearended by a roofing company truck.

A driver of a Burr Roofing truck crashed into Maria Coreano as he was concentrating on his Bluetooth device, according to the Connecticut Post.

The accident happened on Sept. 10, 2011 on Main Street. Coreano has had multiple surgeries since then.
