Twice-A-Week Lunch Program Returns To Trumbull Senior Center

TRUMBULL, CT — Lunches on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Trumbull Senior Center's Priscilla Place Cafe have returned following the program's temporary closure last year during the pandemic.

The lunches are served from noon to 1 p.m., and pricing is as follows, according to the senior center:

• Lunch Special $8.00: All lunch specials are served with Soup or Salad & Dessert
• Cup of Soup $2.00
• Bowl of Soup $3.00
• Club Sandwich $6.00 All sandwiches are served with a side.
• Sandwiches $5.00 All sandwiches are served with a side.
• Dessert $1.50

The program is now run by the group New England Young at Heart, which offers a more varied lunch menu than the previous edition, which was run by the state, reported the Trumbull Times.

To reserve a spot, call the senior center's reservation line at 203-452-5199 ext. 3. Reserverations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
