Two Arrested For Trumbull Car Burglaries

Officers found that two men had taken items from four unlocked vehicles, according to police.

TRUMBULL, CT — Two Bridgeport men were arrested early Friday morning after police determined they had committed several car burglaries in town, according to police.

An officer noticed a vehicle traveling slowly on Brewster Place shortly after 3 a.m. without its headlights on. The vehicle was stopped and police found that occupants had stolen items from four unlocked vehicles in the area, police said.

Items taken included a laptop, credit cards and a wallet. Renell Campbell, 18, and Marcus Negron, 18, were charged with burglary, larceny and possession of burglar tools.
