Two Motorcycles Stolen In Same Day: Trumbull PD
One of the incidents involved the suspect showing a gun to the seller, police said.
TRUMBULL, CT — Two motorcycles were stolen during separate incidents in Trumbull Wednesday. The thefts involved people meeting up after seeing ads on OfferUp for off-road type motorcycles.
The sellers were contacted by an interested buyer and agreed to meet up. One went to Wilson Avenue and another Green Street.
The Wilson Avenue seller told the prospective buyer he wouldn't let him take the bike on a ride. The buyer then lifted his shirt and displayed a handgun in his waistband before he rode off on the bike, said Lt. Keith Golding, police spokesman.
