Officers found up to 70 young people at the party, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A 21-year-old Suffield man was issued a summons after officers busted an underage drinking party on White Plains Road, according to police. Police got information about a large gathering via their Internet tip website Nov. 19.

Officers went to a White Plains Road residence and found up to 70 young people in and around the property, said Lt. Doug Smith, police spokesman. Many of the minors fled as police arrived. Most who stayed identified themselves as Sacred Heart University students.

Konrad Nevers, 21, told police he lives at the home and was related to the owners, Smith said. His legal address is in Suffield.
