Upcoming Road Closure, Detour Announced For Trumbull: Town

Town officials said paving work is scheduled to take place on two Trumbull roads.

TRUMBULL, CT — A road closure and detour will be in place during upcoming paving work on two Trumbull roads starting next week, town officials announced Thursday.

According to the town website, pavement repairs due to a recent water main break on Oxen Hill Road are scheduled to begin Monday.

The road will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the work, and drivers are asked to plan for delays and allow extra travel time, according to the town.

Reclaiming and paving of Williams Road is scheduled to begin Tuesday, weather permitting, town officials said.

Construction activity will take place between Edison Road and Frenchtown Road, according to the town.

A signed detour will be in place via Raynor Avenue and High Gate Road, town officials said.

Town officials also noted delays are expected and asked drivers to allow additional time for travel.
