Vehicle Fire Breaks Out In Front Of Trumbull Subway Restaurant: Long Hill FD
Crews extinguished a vehicle fire that broke out in front of a Subway restaurant in Trumbull, according to Long Hill fire officials.
TRUMBULL, CT — Crews extinguished a vehicle fire that broke out Wednesday afternoon in front of a Subway restaurant in Trumbull, according to the Long Hill Volunteer Fire Co.
In a Facebook post, Long Hill fire officials said Long Hill and Trumbull Center firefighters were called to the area of Quality Street around 12:30 p.m. after receiving a report of a vehicle fire.
When crews arrived at the restaurant, they found a sedan on fire after a blaze broke out in the vehicle's engine compartment, according to the volunteer fire company.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and the vehicle was later removed from the area by a wrecker, Long Hill fire officials said.
