Weekly Social Distancing Food Drive Announced In Trumbull

TRUMBULL, CT — Many local residents and business owners are economically struggling due to the coronavirus shutdown and food pantry donations are as important as ever.

The Trumbull state legislative delegation along with Trumbull EMS has organized a weekly donation site at the Trumbull Library parking lot. It will take place every Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. Donors won't have to leave their cars.

Among the most-needed items are diapers, napkins, tissue,s toilet paper, paper towels, sanitizer, feminine products, deodorant, laundry detergent and gift cards to local grocery stores. Here is a full list of needed items.
