Westfield Mall in Trumbull Hosts 'Sensitive Easter Bunny' Program
It's an opportunity for children with autism and other special-needs to meet with the Easter Bunny on Sunday, March 22.

Connecticut’s Westfield Shopping Centers are proud to announce their partnership with Autism Speaks to host “Sensitive Easter Bunny,” an opportunity for children with Autism and other special needs (and their siblings) to visit with the Easter Bunny in a soothing and sensor-friendly environment.
The events will take place Sunday, March 22nd at Westfield Trumbull, Westfield Connecticut Post and Westfield Meriden Shopping Centers from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Families will enjoy a quiet visit with the Easter Bunny supported by no overhead mall radio or audible music from nearby stores, no long lines and lower shopper traffic. Children will enjoy being entertained with special sensory-friendly activities nearby while they wait to meet the Easter Bunny.
“We are so proud of this program and its impact on our local community,” said Paul Sabina, Westfield District Marketing Manager. “It really does warm the heart to see the excitement in the kids’ faces and to know how much that moment means to their parents. It’s an event like this we find incredibly rewarding and we are thankful to everyone who helps make this possible.”
