Who's At The Door?
Members of the Trumbull High School Golden Eagle Marching Band are conducting their annual door-to-door fundraising campaign

Back in the old days when I was young, a ring of the doorbell meant the Avon lady. These days, if you live in Trumbull, when your doorbell rings, it can only mean one thing: it’s Golden Eagle Marching Band fund raising time!
If they haven’t already, young men and women in Golden Eagle Marching Band t-shirts will be coming to your house to raise funds for the many activities and competitions the band participates in.
Their next competition will be Oct. 1 when hosts the Musical Arts Conference. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m., the event will begin with the National Anthem at 5:00 p.m., and the Golden Eagle Marching Band will perform their show A Fine Line in exhibition at 8:30 p.m. Food and souvenirs will be available for purchase.

The Musical Arts Conference (M.A.C) is a coalition of Music Educators that have formed a non-profit organization, in order to create a professional and educational outlet for high school ensembles to compete in. Trumbull High will host the MAC on October 1 and then again on Oct. 8.
Their many performances, competitions and exhibitions would be impossible without the generous funding of the Trumbull community. So when your doorbell rings and there’s a young man or woman raising funds for the Golden Eagles, open the door. I promise they won’t try and sell you makeup!
