Winning CT Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Trumbull

A Stratford resident is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Stratford resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning scratch off lottery ticket he purchased in Trumbull, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Tuesday, Andrew Ciambriello claimed a winning "30X Cash 9th Edition" ticket he purchased at the Trumbull Food Mart on White Plains Road.

The game, which costs $30 per ticket, began last month, and as of Wednesday, 105 grand prizes of $30,000 remained unclaimed. Additionally, 109 second place prizes of $10,000 also were unclaimed as of Wednesday

More than 1 million tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.53.
