Winning CT Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Trumbull

A local resident also is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Trumbull resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket he purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Monday, Roy Hemond Sr. claimed a winning "10X Cash 15th Edition" ticket he purchased at Trumbull One Stop on Main Street.

The game, which costs $10 per ticket, began in May 2021, and as of Tuesday, 53 grand prizes of $10,000 remained unclaimed.

More than 5.2 million tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.95.
