Driver Injured When Car Goes Into Vernon Reservoir: Reports
The accident happened at Risley Reservoir just before noon on Saturday, according to reports.
VERNON, CT — A man was injured Saturday morning when he drove his car into the Risley Reservoir in Vernon, according to multiple reports.
Vernon police told WTNH the accident happened at 415 Lake St. just before 12 p.m. The driver was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
A dive team responded to the scene of the crash and checked the water for additional people, NBC Connecticut reported.
