11-piece family orchestra performing in Rockville on September 3

Cheshire-based group has inspirational message

Jacob’s Well Coffeehouse will feature The Bennett Family on Friday, September 3. Doors open at 7 p.m. with music starting at 7:30 p.m. The concert-style event will be held in the beautiful, 700-seat Union Church sanctuary located at 3 Elm Street in the historic Rockville section of Vernon. Admission is free and dress is casual. The general public is invited to participate.

The Bennett Family is a talented, 11-piece family orchestra led by parents Ray and Diane Bennett of Cheshire, Connecticut. The group performs at various venues in Connecticut, including churches, community events, rehabilitation and assisted living centers. Ray Bennett serves as Facility Manager at WIHS 104.9 Christian Radio in Middletown, while his wife Diane Bennett serves on its Board of Directors. Many other members of the family are volunteers at the non-profit station.
