16-Year-Old In Stolen Car Caught On Highway In Vernon
A teen was caught on a stretch of highway in a stolen car, state police said.

VERNON, CT — State police nabbed a 16-year-old in a car stolen from Maine on Interstate 84 in Vernon state police said.
According to an arrest report, at 10:46 a.m., a trooper on the westbound side of the highway encountered the 2012 Toyota Prius near Exit 65.
The vehicle was pulled over and a teen was behind the wheel, state police said.

He was released to a guardian after being charged with third-degree larceny — a felony — along with driving without a license, according to an arrest report.
