2 Charged After Gun Incident At Vernon Apartment
A gun incident in Vernon Tuesday night resulted in a pair of arrests, police said.

VERNON, CT — A gun incident in Vernon Tuesday night left two people with charges.
At 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, Vernon police officers responded to 30 Parkwest Drive after receiving a report about a man waving a gun outside an apartment.
According to a police report, a woman met police on the property and identified the man as 22-year-old Marion Crosby, who was then inside the dwelling. The woman told police Crosby had initially prevented her her from leaving the apartment while threatening her with a gun.

Officers were able to convince Crosby to come out of the apartment and he was taken into custody without further incident, according to a report.
A second man, identified as 27-year-old Joel Garcia, was also taken into custody, police said.

A gun was later recovered, police said.
Crosby has been charged with the violation of a restraining order, second-degree breach of peace, risk of injury to a child, unlawful restraint, criminal possession of a firearm, criminal possession of ammunition, second-degree
threatening and interfering with an officer. Crosby was held overnight on a $100,000 bond and was to be arraigned Wednesday in Rockville Superior Court.
Garcia has been charged with interfering with an officer, tampering with evidence, negligent
storage of a firearm, and conspiracy to criminally possess a firearm. Garcia was also held overnight on
a $50,000 bond and was also set to appear in court Wednesday.
