2 Hurt Sunday As Coach Bus, Car, Collide In Vernon
A bus that makes frequent stops in the I-84 Exit 67 area collided with a car Sunday.

VERNON, CT —A coach bus from a service that makes frequent stops off Exit 67 on Interstate 84 collided with a compact car Sunday afternoon, Vernon police said.
The crash took place at 3:52 p.m. at the intersection of I-84 Westbound and Reservoir Road, police said.
The driver of a Toyota sedan was taken to Hartford Hospital with serious injuries, police said. The driver of the bus was transported to Rockville General Hospital with minor injuries, police said.

The bus was full, but no passengers reported injuries, police said.
The Lucky Star line makes daily trips from Boston to New York City and NYC To Boston. It regularly uses the Exit 67 area as a pit stop with its location about halfway between the cities and two fast food places located just off the ramps.
