2 Promoted To Lieutenant At Vernon Police Department

A pair of veteran officers has been promoted to lieutenant at the Vernon Police Department.

VERNON, CT — Two veteran Vernon police officers have been promoted from sergeant to lieutenant.

Both Rob Marra and Christopher Pryputniewicz were officially promoted Monday.

Pryputniewicz is a 14-year-member of the Vernon Police Department and had been a sergeant for eight of those years. He was also a member of the East Central Narcotics Task Force.

Marra has been on the job in Vernon for 15 years and has been in a supervisory role for the past six years. His the the current public information officer for the VPD. Marra has also been a member of the ECNTF and a community policing officer.
