3 Arrested After Shoplifting Incident in Vernon: Police

V ERNON, CT — Three women were arrested after a shoplifting incident at the Vernon T.J.Maxx, police said.

The store is located at the Tri-City Plaza shopping center at Vernon Circle.

The incident took place at 4:55 p.m. on Tuesday, police said.

Deaysa Lawrence, 20, of Hartford, was charged with interfering with an officer for scuffling with the cops, and sixth-degree larceny for the alleged shoplifting, police said. She was assigned a $10,000 bond, records show.

Cynphanie Merritt, 26, of Windsor, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and given a $1,000 bond, which she posted, police said.

Patricial Reynoso, 29, of Hartford, was charged with possessing marijuana and sixth-degree larceny and given a $1,000 bond, which she posted, police said.
