8-Week-Old Suffers Broken Bones, Man Charged in Vernon: Cops

VERNON, CT — A Vernon man has been charged after his 8-week-old suffered "numerous broken bones," an arrest report indicates.

Kevin Samples, 25, who lives at 695 Talcottville Road, surrendered on a warrant Monday, police said. He posted a $75,000 bond and is due in court on March 27, according to police records.

Police said the child had other injuries, but did not specify in an arrest report what they were. The "circumstances" are being investigated, police said.
