Aldi Going on Another Hiring Spree in Connecticut, Region

VERNON, CT — Aldi has scheduled hiring events for all of its Connecticut stores this week.

The interviews on Wednesday are designed to help fill 100 positions across the region, which includes stores in Connecticut, the New York City-area, New York's Capital Region, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.

Hiring events are slated for 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at each store. Every store in the region is hosting a hiring event.

Aldi operates more than 1,750 stores in 35 states, with more growth planned.

The grocery chain recently announced a $3.4 billion "investment" to increase its store count to 2,500 locations and create 25,000 jobs by 2022.

Store associates generally make $13.10-to-$14.30 per hour (wages vary by location).
